I think the Orange has got to consider doing Ohio St vs Oklahoma. from a business standpoint- that would be huge.

The Orange Bowl can't do that, from a business point of view. The Orange is partnered with the ACC. They have to take care of Clemson. If they take OU instead of Clemson, the Sugar could take Oregon and the ACC would be pizzed at the OB.

I think Sugar would take Clemson quite frankly to play Alabama.

gosh
Auburn/FSU
Stanford/Mich St
Alabama/Clemson
Ohio St/Oklahoma
Baylor/UCF

may be the best set of BCS games ever.

The orange will take clemson because of ACC tie and match them vs ohio state.

I don't think that's a guarantee. If they know Sugar would take Clemson(which I think they would)- they would have maybe their best matchup in 10 years with Ohio St/Oklahoma.

I think the ACC and Clemson would be okay with that, however Clemson/Ohio State and Bama/Oklahoma is how the bowls would be in the future ACC/B10/SEC or ND, and SEC/B12.

Heres the CBS projections prior to OSU meltdown.

OU to the Sugar Bowl... to probably face the Tide now.

Alabama would rather play oregon than weak clemson team so sugar would take oregon.

I don't think no matter what Oregon is not in. If Orange doesn't think they would select Clemson, Orange would take Clemson/Ohio St. That would leave Sugar and they would be in a position to pretty much have to take Oklahoma.

I think Orange takes Alabama and doesn't think very long about it. Sugar takes Ohio St. Orange gets Clemson with their 2nd pick. Then OU to Sugar. Fiesta gets UCF.

Orange can't take bama, bama fills auburn sec slot in sugar.

FSU is #1. Orange has 1st choice for their replacement pick.

The BCS has a rule that prevents that. The bowl with the first replacement pick (the Orange, this year) can't select a team from the same conference as the "other" team in the BCS title game. IOW the Orange has to let the Sugar take an SEC team.

RE: Sugar Bowl: Alabama vs Oregon, or Oklahoma?
Do some of y'all know how this works? Orange is tied to the ACC, Sugar is tied to the SEC, and Fiesta is tied to the B12. Therefore Clemson is headed to the Orange, Bama is headed to the Sugar, and Baylor is headed to the Fiesta... OB hits up the field first and I'd have to say that they'll bring in Ohio State. Then the Sugar will likely pick between the Oklahoma and Oregon for the final spot in the BCS. I'd think they'd pick Oregon, but Oklahoma makes sense as well. Then the Fiesta w/ the last pick takes in UCF.

There is a rule that doesn't allow that- the Sugar gets the SEC team no matter what.
