Two Texas teams won conference titles.

Congrats to the Rice Owls and Baylor Bears, the 2 privates.

Baylor and Rice. Possibly Duke. Was CFB sent back to the 1920's-1950's?

Don't forget Stanford in the Pac.

It's extremely impressive for these elite privates (well not really Baylor) to put up these kind of teams because it's much harder to find 90-100 guys with good grades who are also all-star athletes (or competitive enough to be best in conference) than it is to build a all-star team off of lower admission standards.

I actually don't know their admission standards for athletes, I'm just assuming.

Win or lose they have a pretty good team.

Goes to show that it's easier to win at these elite private schools than is generally believed.

Which was hardly necessary to write. Posting possibly and opportunity is hardly "tooting the horn".
