Reported on ESPN. No word on if he coaches the bowl game.

If every game was called like today's, I could buy it. Hoping that we can pull in a replacement who can build and improve on what Reagan has done. Maybe someone who has a penchant for developing QBs well?

Love the good press we're getting today. Even had my neighbor come over and comment how we were manhandling them. My dad said we looked like an old school SWC team. On to Memphis!

I agree, and it isn't just because the plays worked. Today was a great mix of everything.

Saved the best for last, thanks Coach.

Time to bring a former QB in to mentor our youth at the position.

JD just tweeted that Reagan will NOT coach Rice in the Liberty Bowl. He assumes his new duties on Monday.

Not exactly a classy move on his part (or by Kansas and Weiss). What the heck is the need to rush to Kansas, who are done for the season?

Have to agree. Not a good time to leave the players/staff high and dry.

I guess I am a little confused. I thought most Parmentarians could not wait to get rid of Reagan.

Personally, I wish he was staying for the bowl game, but I am sure the staff can adjust.

I assume he is leaving to help with recruiting.

This is normal. Nothing to get excited about.

I highly doubt we bring in an outsider now. My guess would be Edmondson, who has 5 years of prior OC experience.

And after the joy today brought, if we are going to fund this thing right so maybe we can keep some of the other coaches around in the future, now is the time to step up and do it.

Agreed. In the other thread I mentioned it would be commendable if he had an offer and stayed through the bowl. This is more the 'norm'.

Our staff can handle it. Hire Kubiak as a consultant to come in and help look at film. Let's win this bowl, no matter who is calling the plays.

Agreed 110%.

To the comments about Kubiak, I think someone like Edmonson takes the OC spot, but we need to bring SOMEONE in, and Kubiak has time on his hands and knowledge, plus at least a little familiarity... and 3 weeks to brush up. He can help break down the other team if nothing else.

He might want more of an unofficial than official role, but i'd talk to him about it.

If I were Bailiff....which I obviously am not....it seems that a brilliant mind on the offensive side of the ball has just become available and resides in the Houston area. Wonder if Gary Kubiak would be interested in a one-game stint as our OC? I'd say there might be a little incentive there.

And that guy knows how to get something good out of a young QB if you ask me.

It will probably never happen. But the thought of it absolutely intrigues me.

Gary Kubiak might be available now. I wonder what Klein would think about being coached by his father.
