Sounds good to me if we don't get in Military... baseball stadiums, yuck.

I'd be perfectly fine with it. Much better than playing at 2 pm on a Monday.

RE: Rice to the Liberty Bowl
Vandy would be a good matchup (at least for the schools, I don't know that much about their team).

I still want revenge on Vandy for hiring away Watson Brown. UAB Fans would probably want revenge on Vandy for making him available to them to hire.

RE: Official: Rice to Liberty
Don't get me wrong I hope Rice wins against whoever they play, but I don't see them beating Ole Miss or Vandy. Now if they draw Miss. St. I'll take Rice.

It will be a road game for Rice if it is one of those 3, so that sucks.

And sorry about the ****** Herd fan. Championship teams are ready to play, and you guys were. We got out hussled, out worked, out coached. You were the better team today and deserve the CUSA Championship.

Congrats! Go Owls! Go win the Liberty Bowl now.

Good Luck in the Liberty Bowl. Hope you win. Will MS State fans be able to bring their cow bells in?

03-lmfao I want "revenge" for the damage he did or tried to do to UAB when he was here and just before he left, he and "Despicable He" (Bryant Jr.) were good friends & IMO, had the same agenda when it came to UAB Football, to keep it watered down and "in its place." #WeWantTennTech!

Congrats Rice…Glad to see you guys got what you deserved in getting the Liberty Bowl bid.

Would be a fun deal for the players and coaches….The players absolutely loved it when we went out there in 2007. Since we are not in the Military or Liberty Bowl I will not be able to make it this year as I can not afford to fly the family so I would enjoy a little Christmas Eve football…Would prefer the Hawaii Bowl over St. Pete.

To answer that inquiry, I've never known at any time for their fans to have been forbidden to bring those damn bells. I know they didn't prevent them at "Lesion" Field the last time the Blazers played them here. My guess would be "yes." Their cowbells have become a part of college football's history and landscape, even though the NCAA rules say otherwise.
