Congrats Rice fans! I've always liked Baliff and being that I went to a small private school (grade school through High School) I have to say that it was nice to see one of "us" win it! Great job... now please, for your "lunatic fringe": lay off of Baliff. He's a great coach.

I think on the Rice side, a lot of the tension went away when the ex-coach left Tulsa. (FWIW I wish we had gotten over that a lot faster.) Of course breaking the losing streak against you helped too.

Clearly the balance of power in CUSA has shifted west. Rice was the best team all year and the division dominated the east.
