As Flipper mentioned we were without some key pieces to, but if Lynch was sick he made a miraculous recovery for the post-game news conference. It was over ten minutes and he didn't cough, sneeze, rub his eyes, blow his nose or touch a tissue the whole time!

rwt is a troll, not a MAC fan. flipper just rides the bandwagon.

Sorry that anyone encounters bad fans, especially from BG. BG fans should enjoy competition w/ fellow MAC members, not show pettiness.

NIU has been great, and a real boon for MAC football. You guys should be proud, and I hope NIU is back in top form for bowl game.

I told you guys a few years ago when Clausen was just starting out that he would do well. I like his style and his coaching schemes. Congrats!

Congrats to the Falcons on a dominating win. BTW, every BG fan I saw and talked to in Detroit was completely classy.

What on Gods green earth are you talking about? I have not said one derogatory thing to one NIU poster or about any player on this board and I have dozens of posts on here and on your board to prove it.

And I'm certainly not doing so here. I'm only saying that I think the claims that Lynch was "sick" enough to give BG an advantage is BS and lacking evidence.

And no, I didn't say anything to you or your kid at the game. I have never purchased an alcoholic drink at a sporting event in my entire life and I rarely drink to begin with.

But let me apologize for the actions of those BG fans. They are certainly not indicative of the overwhelming majority of BG fans who have shown the upmost class to NIU for their success the last few years. Go read our board...you'll find none of that. Did you report these ******** to security at the game? I hope so as they deserved to be booted from the event.

And P.S., just ignore anything DT says, the rest of us do. He hasn't been to a BG sporting event in probably a decade. His purpose here is to start arguments...ironically by calling others "trolls". 03-lmfao

No one is picking on the NIU players....If anything I think trying to blame the loss on Lynch having the sniffles or another player or two being injured is a swipe at BGSU. That win was built on the near perfect execution of offensive and defensive gameplans designed to take advantage of opportunities NIU's style of play presented...nothing more..nothing less.

Poor tommy, got driven out of spin room and now he's trolling more here. Of course tommy didn't make it to last year's Military Bowl, but he's a "big" fan.

And so knowledgable, just ask him how much bigger Stanford is than Nebraska.

NIU lost because of its defense and coaching (what's up with BG's players being wide open with no NIU defender within 10+ yds on multiple TD passes?). I don't think anyone is blaming the loss on Lynch being sick.

We need to move back to the West...we had a good rivalry going with you guys in 2002-2004....and 1983 when losing to you cost us the pre division MAC title. Although...the idea of playing for the MAC title every year does sound pretty good. We should just stay in the east.. :)

How about BG moves to the West and UT moves to the East since UT is more EAST than bg is. 03-wink

If you look at the two on Google maps...that's true by like a mile at the most. I'd say kick Miami out of the east...but we need that annual win (until they get the right coach and the whammy comes back)

No, but it has been brought up enough that some (not you) have used it as a reason to belittle BG's accomplishment in some fashion, which is absolute hogwash.
