I wasn't watching it by the end either.
Duke-FSU drew a 1.7 compared to 3.5 for the B1G. The last three ACC title games before that were a 2.0 (2010), 1.7 (2011), and a 1.4 (2012).
Those are pretty bad numbers. Not sure why you think networks will re-up for huge dollars?
Quo you really need to stop. FSU was a 29 point favorite and that game was over really at halftime. You're comparing that to a game where the underdog won which knocked the number 2 team out of the national championship race. Please.
WTF? I know that FSU-Duke was just one game, which is why i posted the ratings for the previous THREE acc title games as well (which are equally sorry).
I'm beginning to wonder whether you are an ACC official. That's the only rational explanation for your otherwise bizarro ACC boosterism.
There were issues almost every year. Last year, a 6-6 GT had to play in the game because UNC and Miami were ineligible.
2011 - Up against the first Big 10 championship game
2010 - Up against the last Big 12 championship game and it was Oklahoma and Nebraska.
Considering FSU won by 38, that rating is pretty good. It outdrew Texas/Baylor and Pac 12.
