Sources say EM wants a big name and not just another person.

I bet we win 6 games next season with him. Atleast we will never be out coached.

Glanville was a goof-ball and no one would even remember him had he not been one. His record is 9-24 in the NCAA (FCS) and 63-73 in the NFL. That is a record of 72-97 as a head coach. Not stellar numbers. If your source is correct, I just lost a lot of hope for EMU football’s future.

The fact that a seventy-two-year-old man even wants to coach again makes me wonder if he spent too much money on his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series hobby from a while back, and he needs an income to… eat.

Your right we are better off with some joe blow coordinator and being just as bad next year.

He went to the plays 5 seasons in the NFL. We will get no one even close to this caliber.

It reminds me when Pardee took over Houston after coaching in the Pros and look how that turned out for UH.

Heck, we may as well have fun with this speculation. I say we bring in Jerry Tarkanian. Yeah, I know he coached UNLV in basketball but he was a winning coach!

He's 72 years old, man. No way.

I don't want "some Joe blow" coordinator either, but they'd make more sense than a senior citizen at this point.

Prolly wouldn't have to pay him as much either since he's prolly collecting social security. Heck, we could prolly get away with paying him minimum wage - just to supplement his SS benefits.

Sure, why not? I hear he's busy making cabinets in his workshop these days. Get him back in the game.

Gary Kubiak is available...
If Mark Trestman kicks on 2nd down again he may soon be available...
How about we give give John Gruden a package deal with a reality show about building a dynasty and let him make coaching and TV money...

Perhaps Glanville's interest in us was peaked after learning about the Annual Elvis Fest in Ypsi...
He always left tix for Elvis at will call at his previous coaching gigs.

All jokes aside...
My pipe dream is to hear an announcement and have a new coach present for the Board of Regents meeting on Tuesday...
I'm not sure if we'll see that, but it would be nice.
