Win or lose, we look better against North Carolina than the #1 team in the country.

UNC will not play back-to-back away games again until February 26 and March 1st.

Their next six games are at home, and includes Kentucky and Texas.

Imagine what a "vintage UNC" team could do if this team can beat the number one ranked team on the road.

I've been thinking about that statement all night. Someone who tweets please get on that.

KenPom.com will definitely have UAB back in the top 100 tomorrow.

I can see where people may label UNC as an enigma. Beat Louisville and Michigan State but lose to Belmont and us. But seeing our ball club play against them and New Mexico, I am confident that we can play winning basketball against anybody.

Kudos to Coach Haase and staff.

UAB's RPI is now up to 59 following the UNC win. UNC now at 13 04-jawdrop , New Mexico at 15 and Temple at 54. Really glad we had some marquee OOC games this year, as currently 8 of our 16 conference games are against teams with RPIs of 200+.

Roy Williams after the game: "We were so bad in our last game against UAB, I didn’t know if we were going to get beat by 1,000."

KenPom.com has updated, and UAB moved up to 95th. UNC is now 8th.

Charlotte went from 77th to 104th. La Tech went from 67th to 82nd.

Only four C-USA teams are in the top 100, while eight are in the bottom 150.

Didn't you hear? UNC lost to us because they weren't focused on that game. It has nothing to do with UAB's abilities, and everything to do with UNC not showing up.

I wish Roy Williams would be more of a class act and tell the media that first of all we lost to a really fine ball club. I personally know the Head coach of the Blazers and he is doing an excellent job with that program. Trust me, they will have more wins like this coming in the near future. UAB isn't a bunch of nobodies.

But I guess that's too much like doing right.

Roy Williams was respectful to us and Coach Haase in his post game comments, no?

Roy has enough to worry about with his own ball club. We don't need him defending us over and over again.

Yep. Williams isn't involved in any of this. If we keep winning, people will notice us.

Roy Williams was classy in his postgame at UAB regarding Coach Haase, but pretty much pooped on UAB as a team last night.

Still a lot to prove this season... one win means nothing if you don't win the ones people expect you to win. We cannot let up.
