Yeah, it's happened before. I know Troy and Louisiana both have sent 2 in recent years. Still a huge accomplishment.

UL - '12 - Dwight Bently, DB and Ladarius Green, TE
Troy - '10 - Brandon Lang, DL and Cameron Sheffield, LB
Idaho - '67 - Dick Arndt, T and Ray McDonald, B

Not sure if the Idaho in '67 counts, that was before the SBC existed and way, way before they joined the conference.

Just glad to know that they are seniors.
You will miss them. Us, not so much.
Shame the Sun Belt will not get to see them play in the SBC for a couple of years.

I believe Jake Johnson LB and BJ Scott DB both attended from South last year.

But Jake got hurt during practice and didn't get to play.
Both were replacement invites.

Seems there were trust issues about Jake and BJ being Senior Bowl participants last year.

Yes I was simply listing all possible occurences I could find of future belt teams.

Both will be drafted. McKinnon is going to fly up the boards. Benches 525 at 215 pounds

I think he will definitely be drafted as long as he stays healthy and in shape. He has too many tools for a team to not find a place for him. Very versatile player.

He's gone from the 45th ranked RB to 10th after gashing Florida and getting invited to the Senior bowl. Word is getting out quickly.

And McKinnon was only 70% with that ankle against the Gators.

congrats and well-deserved!! we'll miss these guys next year but looking forward to see who steps up and takes their place.

McKinnon will be drafted higher than JJ.
