What did we do to Jay Bilas for us to get this level of disrespect. At this point in time, I will acknowledge the fact that he has us in his stupid poll. But as the wins keep piling on, the more respect he will give us.

Where has he disrespected us this year? Including us is giving us respect. Getting upset that he says we are unlikely to stay in the poll is not disrespect. It's based on knowledge of our team going into the season, which he admits might be wrong.

I haven't heard disrespect regarding our game with UNC. Maybe a lack of acknowledgement of the accomplishment, but the story is about how erratic UNC is, not UAB.

I think blazer fans are letting old news cloud their judgement. He was disrespectful in 2011, but not now.

Keep winning and these things will take care of themselves.

I took it that way because of him singling us out. This implies to me that everybody else is in good and safe standing. This sounds like a continuation of what he had to say back in 2011.

I get it. His poll, point of view, and biasness means nothing. At the end of the day the NCAA committee and the powers to be will decide the final draw. It's just that I love my school just like the next Blazer, and I would like for him to tone down on the undeserved jabs.

I don't have ESPN insider, but judging from the preview, he comments on every team. He's not singling us out. He is providing an explanation as to why we are there.

There are no undeserved jabs. There are over 350 schools. At this point he considers us in the top 68. Shame on him.

We don't need his kind of "respect." I'd rather have "montezuma's revenge" than validation from that hemorrhoid! 03-lmfao

As long as he doesn't act like an ***hole like me and hold inappropriate signs and yell inappropriate things to the other team/coaches just because Dickey Nutt coached SEMO and brought his two sons with the same unfortunate last name and then throw a crybaby hissy fit about it as if the game was about him and not the players on the floor...he'll be fine.

Every time the letters UAB come out of the mouth of someone in the media, and it isn't to predict UAB winning the national championship in whatever sport, UAB fans want to jump on them like they're Osama Bin Laden. And then some people wonder why UAB gets so little attention from the media.
