It is quite interesting the hatred and extremely vocal fixation some Arkansas State fans have with Coach Petrino. It's as if he somehow embarrassed or let down their favorite university.

We always hate former pig coaches.

Or do we have to hear the excuses from last season when they get destroyed by a medicore Ohio team of how they were not allowed to practice for 2 weeks.....I will be glad when Sunday passes so all of this talk will just be over....At this point I am ready for it to be over and count down until July 1st......30 plus years of being in a conf. obviously means nothing....

ASU fans have been talking bad about Petrino long before his fall.

Many have. When it sounded like BP was going to be out coach, I was in favor, but I'd say most on the den was against it. I guess they thought it'd hurt our rep, which in hind sight would have with the AR media.

1) Some were wanting him bad, most were nervous either because they were afraid we couldn't find anyone as good or that he would be bad PR, some were just flat out opposed.

2) We're just waiting for the divorce you filed to be finalized. At that point the relationship usually doesn't mean that much unless there are kids, and there aren't.

WKU never had a chance at that Bowl once ULM became Bowl eligible. It's still not a done deal for ULM but they have a chance at it and they've giving it their all.
