Just playing devil's advocate here, but the easiest way to beat us is to make your shots. Also, if we made more of our shots and forced more turnovers, our rebound ranking would be lower. Just sayin'.

To turn that back around, you might could argue that defense has forced other teams to take poor shots.

And to volley your point, we currently rank #103 in field-goal percentage defense at 41.1% per game, with a ghastly #263 rank in fg% (42.2%), so I believe our own poor shooting is bouying our rebounding ranking at the moment.

In fairness only 1% separates us from #46 in defense. Just not enough games played yet for the stats to get good and settled. But I do agree our offensive shooting isn't our strong point.

One other interesting stat is we are tied for #30 for personal fouls per game at 16.1. Not too shabby considering the new rules...

This coaching staff is a smart bunch. They have coached these guys up to use the new foul rules to their advantage. The same rules are killing XCMA & Arkansas right now.

What has tanked XCMA at Arkansas is finishing the season. The Razorbacks dropped 4 of their last 6 last season and 9 of their last 12 in 2011-12.

The lowest we've finished in the last 3 years is 41. Even with our worst team in 7 years, we probably wont finish out of the top 85.

I admit I underestimated Temple this year. HOwever, I still don't think we should've lost by 20+ to you guys.

You shouldn't have. We rarely win by more than 8.
