It appears that the EMU coaching search is past the silly stage of has-been coaches throwing their names out to the press while trying to remain relevant.

This DII head coach is exactly the type of coach EMU needs. He is interviewing with EMU's AD today and tomorrow according to this story:

This guys team last weekend blew at 16 point lead at home losing to GVSU in the D-2 Playoffs.

He's not even on the EMU staff yet and you've already started trolling him, Potts? His team has a 37 regular season game winning streak as well.

The school has had a football program for only 5 years, and they have a winning streak like that. He literally built them into a winner from the ground up. Yes please. Don't let him get back on the plane to Colorado.

Of course, the team which CMU beat last Saturday was formerly known as Michigan State (Normal), not to be confused with what we call today "Michigan State".
