And UConn beat Florida.
We know what we're getting with UConn...but our bottom end is AWFUL.
That's the whole damn story of this conference....

Easily one of the most impressive halves of basketball during the Mick era. A lot of good pieces on this team with a couple more really solid seniors coming in and a couple talented freshmen who aren't playing. The next few seasons look really promising.

RE: USC Upstate gamethread
Awesome production from the point guard spot tonight. I wouldn't worry about the inside game that much. Burr and his crew were foul happy in the first half and the Upstate wasn't giving UC anything inside which is why our guards were open all day.
The top of the American is loaded with UConn, Memphis, Louisville, and Cincinnati. SMU is pretty solid and should content for a NCAA or NIT bid. Temple doesn't have a great record but this party due to over scheduling with a young team, they also have a good coach which should make them a difficult out in their building. The rest of the league is just so-so at this point but I expect one team or another to string enough wins together to be respectable. Honestly I am not too worried about it because the games against UConn, Memphis, Louisville, SMU, and Temple are going to be a handful so a break or two isn't the worst thing in the world.
