Boise State has hired Arkansas State's Bryan Harsin to be their new head coach. This means that next season Arkansas State will have their fifth different head coach in five years. Crazy.

Good lord. They have to be ready to sleep with a shotgun muzzle in their mouths by now.

Sooner or later, they have to roll snake eyes on recruiting with that kind of turnover.

Lucky for them, Hardin's contract was $700k per season, where his buyout was $1.75M and is due within 10 calendar days. Their AD said that was non-negotiable at the time of the signing. So Hardin (although I'm sure Boise will pay it) basically had to pay the school $1M to coach the team for a season.

In what seems like a bit of a surprise to some, including some EMU fans, Babers is not the next EMU coach. Instead they went with the Drake coach out of the non-scholarship FCS Pioneer League to be their next guy.
