Is this the greatest rock song ever? Or is it the greatest electric guitar song ever? Or is it the greatest electric guitar duet ever? I don't know but it is as great now as it was 40 some years ago. What really does my heart good was getting into my 18 year old daughters car with her and having this come on her iTunes, right after Eric Church and right before the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

What I love about Clapton is his body of work and when you think of what he has done CONSISTENTLY since The Yardbirds (1963) it is simply amazing IMO. Here is a recent live gig that shows he is still evolving and relevant:
