Terry, let me add my kudos to your post and getting this thread going.
I would add that a bowl game affords another chance to end the season on a positive note.

A bowl win would definitely help me handle all these Debbie Downers that's been on the boards the last couple days...........

Also, a bowl win would change the off season attitude of whole football program. (players, coaches, winter workouts, recruiting, spring practice, the spring game, etc.......)

Would take exception as being labeled a "Debbie Downer". Didn't see you in Akron freezing with the rest of us watching the Rockets go through the motions last Friday.

but some people on here make it sound like the football program is in worse shape than Eastern Michigan's....

I've sat with you in the stands...you've joined the dark side with the rest of us!!!

I know there are 120 + individuals in the Larimer Building realizing that a 7-5 season is unacceptable. Hopefully, we as Rocket fans can get behind this team. Time to quit citing fair weather fans, or advocating leaving the MAC, blaming the refs, and anything else we can conjure up, pointing to the reason of this sub par year of Rocket football. Definitely some changes need to be made internally for the coaching staff to get to that proverbial next level. Possibly weeding out players that do not fit the definition of TOLEDO TOUGH.
But one thing that has to remain constant, is our unending support of the Rockets through good & bad.

Speaking of Larimer Hall - a press conference will be held Dec. 17 to announce the Larimer Hall project construction. Stay tuned for more details.
