Infocision Stadium or the Glass Bowl
For those of you who were at the game Friday or have seen a game at UA recently.
-Thoughts on Infocision, and what UT can do to make the GB as good, if not better. First, I love the upper deck concept with the nice brick around the perimeter. One corner on the home side had a huge team shop(what a novel idea) instead of under the bleachers. Concessions and restrooms were first rate. Light towers were behind the upper deck (another novel idea). You probably are starting to get my drift.
Of course, the Info has a sound system and video board that is far superior to ours. With their impressive press tower, the whole stadium, IMO has a big time feel to it. Possibly, having 30,000 fans in attendance would cement that fact. I love the GB with its venerable block houses(towers), and all its history, but so much more needs to be done. The future Larimer project will definitely upgrade the facility for coaches and players, but fan amenities are still lacking in the Bowl.
Just my 2 cents worth, and still steaming about a 7-5 record. On what should have been a 9-3 or an 8-4 season at worst.

Was really impressed with Akron's new stadium. Best stadium in the MAC at this point in my opinion. Had a "big time" feel to it.
Sound system was excellent (don't want to hear any more steam whistles...). Their PA announcer was obnoxious.
7-5 is not "Toledo Tough", more like "Toledo Mediocre".

Unfortunately I don't there will be a permanent team shop at the Glass Bowl since there is one at Savage (and the ticket office is there, too).

Infocision is a beauty. There are so many upgrades needed for the Glass Bowl. Where do we begin? Ok, so the Larimer project is a start. But what next? A complete overhaul renovation, IMO, is what we need to get to the top.

Infocision Stadium or the Glass Bowl
Why have a shop at the glass bowl when you have one at savage that you shut down prior to the game when heavy foot traffic is going through that area?

The Glass Bowl is the only MAC stadium with any history to it. Like trying to compare the University Tower to a building in BG's campus.

I agree that the shop at Savage "SHOULD" be open until kickoff. I think Mike is trying to point out that some permanent enclosed structures under the stands on both sides of the Glass Bowl would be nice. They could stay open 20 to 30 minutes after the game so those exiting the stadium can also make purchases. Many people make their buys then at other places.......
The Rocket Shop is completely poorly run.......

Red winger,
I'm sure your stadium has some very nice history. You should know by now an opinion different than some on here might as well be called a Snowdenism. I hope we get a bowl and look forward to supporting the coaches and players.

Unfortunately their PA announcer is the PA guy at the MAC basketball tourney too.

RE: Infocision Stadium or the Glass Bowl
The stadium is by far the nicest [duh--new] I have been at MAC wise. The home locker room is really nice. Their inside field is on par with Toledo's. They probably are competing for nicest overall facilities in MAC when talking stadium, indoor facility, locker room, and weight room. Best thing is how everything is all together at one location. Longest walk is the width of a street.

No Boogie Hill or Goose Lake. I actually had "The Dead" play an unannounced show on the lawn outside my dorm. Had about 36,000 for that one.
