How is Louisville the Sun Belt selection??? I've only seen them projected to play in the Russell Athletic Bowl...

Can any Tulane fans provide insights on the excitement on the message boards/around the athletic program right now? Will more Tulane fans show up to the bowl game than the regular season games (seriously wondering, not being a smart ass)? I know bowl games can bring some fans out of the wood works, especially if they haven't been bowling in a while.

Lots of excitement to go to a bowl so I guarantee we bring a lot of fans (way more than have been coming to games). That said, NOT excited to play ULL universally and wish it had been Liberty bowl. ULL fans are very unpopular outside of Lafayette (unless you're a ULL grad displaced).

Nice match up to get a full house.

While I've never been to a game where Tech has played ULL, I've never heard anything positive about them from my ULM friends. I imagine the NOLA Bowl is just gonna end up being a pissing match over their deplorable agenda of being called a fictional university in order to assert themselves as a flag ship of a university system that does not have a flag ship. I just hope Tulane wins big, big, big.
