CUSA Rivalries from the Petrino tree?
From Football Scoop:

Quote:Florida Atlantic: Western Kentucky offensive coordinator Jeff Brohm will likely interview for the FAU head coaching position this week according to a report from Luke Stampini. As we said before, there is a ton of interest in this position. Interim head coach Brian Wright interviews this week as well.

If Brohm gets the job, we could see McGee vs. Brohm and McGee vs. Petrino in CUSA soon!

Man Brohm's stock took off in a hurry. Maybe we should have thrown more money at that guy.

At this rate, he'll be the next AD at Florida for 2015, and running for president in 2016.

It seems like our OC are bound for upward mobility under McGee - our first went to the Colts w/o ever having called a play for us & Brohm is already getting HC talk. It's a shame that our HC isn't having that same upward movement

Maybe we can get Brohm back. He can be head coach and McGee can be the OC. They can switch contracts.

Another rumor has Neil as a target for the Florida OL coach.

Crazy that Brohm has been an OC lately for two coaches that haven't let him call any plays and is still getting looks for head coaching jobs.

Smart move for him to take a pay cut to go to Western Kentucky and escape the approaching s***storm here. That shows you the state of our program.

Anyone thinks AB regression was due to his departure?

McGee set the bar on being an OC without calling plays but still landing a HC job. Petrino called all the plays at Arky.

Neil Callaway had been considered for Florida o-line job the year he was fired here but he took the year off and landed at WKU.

The move to WKU worked out for Brohm, but I would love to have candid remarks from him on why he left UAB to go there. Did he realize McGee had made (unrealistic) promising remarks Brohm knew the program could not sustain in its present state?

It took several years, but we finally convinced our kids to "Give peas a chance".
