I wish Detroit was more revamped where the bar scene was better. Wish it was more like here in Grand Rapids, rather than, well, Detroit. Otherwise, I'd go. Last time I went was 2 years ago for WMU vs Purdue bowl (and year before that for a wedding).

Now, Sugar Bowl in New Orleans? Oh hell yeah...

Everything around the Casino is fine...(Greek Town)..

Would be surprised if NIU sold more than 8k...

Yea, that can't be. Hopefully sales are good though. Maybe that's for the pregame tailgate, or for the bus package?

When I ordered my tickets today, the agent said that there were no plans to be at the hotel on Friday giving out tickets. How can that be? Every year they have been there on Friday up until 2 or 3 or so.

BG announced today that they have filled 10 buses so far, and they also say the tickets are almost gone. But its just their allotment.

Yeah, call me when they are filling planes. There will be quite an echo in that building.

BG is only 75 minutes away. They will have a big crowd.

Attendance wise, I was happy to see BG instead of Buffalo.

BG is now sold out of their tickets...but they only gave us 3,000 at $10 a piece. I think it's because reserved seats are normally $20 and $15 at the stadium. GA tickets can be purchased at the stadium but they are in the end zones and are $10 a piece.

I called and tickets can be picked up at the Marriott again this year but the time is TBD as the ticket office is waiting on the itnerary and what time they need to be at Ford Field. Sounded like at a minimum between 10 and 2 but they sould know later today or tommorow for sure.

How strict were they last year about where you sit? I went the two years before and it seemed to me it was GA, but now I'm hearing that only the endzones are GA. Any information would be appreciated, since my friends and I didn't buy our tickets all at once.
