Probably has to do with previous seasons. Fair or not, right or wrong, a team's history matters in the polls. Also keep in mind that Louisville is not only getting support from the coaches of their present conference but support from their future conference as well.

I am just glad to see UCF ranked ahead of Northern Illinois.

Card fan, I didn't catch the score the Louisville vs UCF game, what was it again?

CJ, I think you're right which is why teams like Florida and Texas are always ranked in the preseason. Best of luck in the future in the ACC.
