there's spots there. Billingsley they can pass Clemson, Oklahoma St, and Baylor very easily. Massey- they should pass Arizona St. Others as well.

Interesting that Mizzou didn't move after beating powerhouse a&m.

if Auburn can pass Ohio St in all computers- the numbers would become so close. I want to see the actual computer numbers to see just how close Auburn is to Ohio St there.

If Auburn takes care of Mizzou they will jump OSU, even if OSU beats Mich St.

Orange- Clemson vs Oregon/Mich St
Sugar- Alabama vs UCF
Fiesta- Oklahoma St vs NIU
I feel bad for the Big 12 champ this year. If NIU doesn't get in the ACC and SEC cannot send a team to the Fiesta bowl. The Pac-12 likely wont have two teams in the top 15 if Arizona State loses. They could end up getting Michigan State unless they want to take a lower ranked team from the Pac-12.

it's not a lock. There's 2 computers- Massey and Sagarin- that are problematic for Auburn.

who are the Big Ten voters? I think that's probably your answer.
If I was a Big Ten voter I would do the same thing. Don't create a biased system and expect people not to use it. Ohio State is 12-0 and is in a BCS conference. Their schedule is not much weaker than FSU so they have every right to be voted #1.

Nope.
Oregon is #12 and idle next week. They won't drop out of the top 14. Either the Ducks or a second Big 12 team would be "in" if NIU loses.
Fiesta, as the bowl with last choice, gets UCF in that scenario, and I'd guess Baylor in the Sugar if they and Ok St both win, Oregon in the Sugar if one of those two loses.

Michigan State wont drop below 14 with a loss to OSU
If FSU/OSU
Then:
Orange: Bama v. Clemson
Sugar: Mizzou/Auburn winner v. UCF
Rose: MSU v. ASU/Stanford winner
Fiesta: OSU v. No. Illinois
If FSU/Auburn
Then:
Orange: Clemson v. Baylor if 11-1, or MSU 11-2
Sugar: Bama v.UCF
Rose: Ohio State v. ASU/Stanford winner
Fiesta: OSU v. No. Illinois
I don't see the Orange taking Oregon, just because of ticket sales, not when they can sell 25K to Clemson and 25K to Michigan State

It's still pretty ironic that South Carolina will have beaten Clemson (Going to a BCS bowl), UCF (Going to a BCS bowl), (Missouri) going to a BCS bowl if they beat Auburn, and finished 10-2. But they will not be going to a BCS bowl.

That's what happens when you pull a Clemson and forget to show up against a stinking Tennessee game.
Perhaps it's not just a Clemson problem but a Sandlapper problem in general. SC has screwed the pooch in several big games the last three or so years with no real reason.

What's the possibility that some of the voters from the P12 and B12 get together in an attempt to screw Northern Illinois?

Clemson is going to get destroyed in their BCS bowl. They better pray that Missouri does not win the SEC because they have got a nasty defense.

Not close enough. If they did not pass them in the computers after beating #1, they won't if they beat number 5 and OSU beats #10. They have to win the human polls, which will be hard, but they could. They need OSU to lose. The margin was bigger than I thought it would be.

Ohio St. is ahead on 5 of 6. If Palm thought it would happen this week he missed. If he thinks Missouri will do it, I think he's wrong. There's not much difference between Missouri and Michigan St. in the computers.
Auburn did pass Alabama in all the computer polls. So basically the computers are saying Auburn's Washington St./Arkansas St./Florida Atlantic/W. Carolina and Georgia are a tougher schedule than Alabama's Kentucky/Colorado St./Georgia St./Chattanooga/Virginia Tech. Other games were the same.
