RE: Next season
Yep. With 13 teams next season the CUSA schedule is unpredictable right now.

As always, the important thing is to get off to a good start (which we never do). The first three games are Troy, @MSU, Alabama A&M. A 2-1 record going into conference play would be huge (we don't play Arkansas until Oct 25 as mentioned above).

Mackin has a good point that our first two games should set a nice tone for attendance. Our other four home games will be against CUSA opponents, so the traveling crowd won't be as good.

"Traveling crowd"?
Hell the home crowd hasn't been that good lately.

Bingo. For us to maximize attendance, we have to draw fans of the other team. Sad but true at this point. Troy and Alabama A&M will bring large (relatively speaking) traveling crowds. But if we're stuck playing UTSA or UTEP at home, there won't be many visiting fans there.

RE: Next season
I wish UAB would drop both buy games and play Alabama A&M and ASU every year in their place on the schedule.

I think we still need one buy game to keep the lights on.
