Yes it did. Pride.

Like the Tulane loss in 2004.

I hear ya. It's just too bad that we have so many butt-whuppins to choose from.

Yeah, I was pretty numb by the end of the game. Once they took the lead, you could feel it tottering over the cliff.

Who is "you two"? Only one person who called you an idiot as far as I can tell.

RE: Worst loss in UAB history?
This game, although arguably not the worst loss, certainly ranks high on the ever-growing list of disgraceful losses. To me this has been the most demoralizing season in UAB football history. Brown's last season and Callaway's first season both sucked, but I really didn't have high expectations for either. This season was the worst for me in that it was McGee's second year and I expected to see significant progress relative to his first season.

This season was bad, but I've never felt as demoralized as I did at the end of 2006.

Still think he should get four years?
No. After today he shouldn't get four more minutes.

He should get a nice sit down talk with Mackin on Monday & Mackin should hear about what McGee plans on doing.
Another year like this one & it might be all she wrote.

I don't think Mackin should be involved in anything. He should make his decisions on what he sees, not what a coach promises.

Mackin's job is also to try and provide McGee with things he needs. Immediate things right now.

Dropping 55 on Tulane and still managing to lose also sucked.
Just throwing it out there.
...the Tulane loss after entering the BCS poll at 5-1 back in...2004? ...had to be the most disappointing loss we've ever had, IMHO... then the USF monsoon game the following week, IIC... weren't those two 'back-to-back'? post-Donoho... don't get me started on conspiracies...
Today's game was rough, but USM was playing with nothing to lose, REALLY wanting to win, and their QB was pretty impressive... but yeah, getting curb-stomped at home by a long-winless team is totally unacceptable...the team TOTALLY quit. I think after the decent showing last week vs now-west champ Rice, we all figured we would take out frustrations on USM... they beat us to the punch in that regard...

RE: Worst loss in UAB history?
...in fact, I'm not sure if this one is even in the top 3 of worst losses to USM... dudes, we had two wins going in...one to a mediocre FCS team, and a one-point win over a 1-11 team... all of our losses have sucked pretty much on a consistent basis all year...

I don't think we will beat USM again as long as McGee is here.

...USM has nowhere to go but up... and I think they will be vastly improved next year... which isn't looking good for us...

RE: Worst loss in UAB history?
Losses on par with this?
Remember the season opening loss in 2010 vs FAU with the blocked FG?
Tulane 49, UAB 17 in 2011.
Tulane 59, UAB 55 in 2004.
Just to name a few. But IMO none of them top this.
