I know its early, but if you had Georgia State and Georgia Southern within two of each other in the RPI on December 1st, raise your hand.

Well we are 3-5 right now (1-5 vs. D1 teams). Hard to believe probably but we are an improving team. We have lost 2 games in OT (MiamI and Campbell) and another game by 2 points (Oral Roberts). We are moving closer to being competitive.

What is the D1 record of Georgia State? it must be the best in the conference when you have players dropping 40 points on the other team night after night.

So far this season I would say the top of the conference hasn't lived up to what I expected and the "bottom" has overachieved. ULM looks to have made the biggest improvement since last year. But as always...a SBC team that stinks it up OOC will jell once conference plays starts and look like a top 30-40 team. Seems to happen every year I just wish we all could be on our game at the start of the season...

OOC is where the conference RPI is made

Considering John Brady and Steve Shields are masters of figuring things out just in time for league play, I think you are probably right...

So what's up with ULM's schedule? They haven't played since Nov 21st, and their next game isn't until Dec 9th; that's an 18 day layoff!

ASU has an 11 day layoff after Monday. Its hard to schedule games over Thanksgiving and with Finals the next week. You have to squeeze them in.

If anyone wants to trade, ASU's women have one home game from Nov 22 to Mid January

My question is where are all the Ga. St. fans that were talking smack preseason? Conference play has not even started yet and they are nowhere to be found...

Niagra has the nations leading scorer and has scored in the 90's in three of their last four games. Somehow...they lost all three of those games.

Lost their last game 107-100

College basketball is becoming like the NBA nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Still around...personally I've been busy with work and the holidays...though I did update by Computer Projections Tracking Thread (http://csnbbs.com/showthread.php?tid=659...10107900), though no one has responded :( Besides that, what is there to say. One game a week isn't much to spark conversation on.

well we're shitting the bed against a very poor bgsu team down by two at halftime.

i'm the first to defend how tough life is on the road but heyzeus on a frikkin' unicycle we should put these clowns away.

i was expecting to lose on the road this saturday to a poor siu team but this one should be a win.

p.s. here's how old i am. i remember louie orr as a smoove mofo when he played at syracuse.

Western is just a awful "team" right now but hopefully with added quickness and a little bit of shooting that will change.

.
Bad loss to what will likely be a MAC bottom feeder. 34% shooting is right about our average now. We are just not very good right now.

Brady's team looks like a Brady team for the first time all year. Holds a high scoring team to 61 points.

Forced some really ugly basketball out of both sides for long stretches. The first 10 minutes was the best I've seen the team play this year.

Since both our big scorers had off days...its nice to still win fairly comfortably. 11 days off and then trips to Nebraska and Marshall sandwiched around a home game with Toledo. Schedule starts getting real now.
