They may try a new defensive package but I don't see it being effective since our offense can be so diverse. We'll just take what they give us. On defense, I see Jimmie making adjustments on the fly and making big plays like he always does.

Perhaps. But the problem is that we've had too many injuries to our WR's, and our back-up RB Coppet is likely still out, to make that many changes.

The key will be whether Lynch can complete passes. BG will force Lynch to throw and take their chances.

I hope you're right. I see JL throwing for 500 yards and six touchdowns.

Good luck with that...but you might not want to mortgage the farm on that one.
Good luck to BG. Hope you're not betting the farm on your Falcons... But it's your money.

Well, let's get down to earth, here. If it was WMU on Tuesday beating them -- OKAY, that would certainly be.

9-3 BGSU who is d*mn good and matches up well with NIU -- one of the biggest upsets in MAC history? No, not by a longshot.

It would cost the MAC the biggest amount of money for an upset, yes! :) But it would be a solid upset -- not earth shattering.

Quote:It's quite the face off, the MAC's best offense versus the MAC's best defense.

Okay, see? Wouldn't be earth-shattering! :) Should be an AWESOME game to watch. NIU can't get too comfortable thinking they have the BCS game in hand. They don't. Bowling Green has been inconsistent this year, but the have stabilized as of late, and that's not good for any of their opponents.

And the game is closer to BGSU territory, too. Should make up for NIU fans who have BCS-potential for their team.

Chances of NIU winning: 60%

Random Prediction:
NIU: 31
BGSU: 28

Fvck off! Your post is pretentious and unwanted.

BG 21

The more I think about this game I am falling inline with 7's predictions. We will have our WR's back, and we are playing indoors, like to think we air it out and also run the crap out of it. I think we win by 17+. BG is a fine team, but Huskies have to many weapons, and if we use them correctly and they perform, lights out boys, we win big.
Lynch will have a big game, thrusting him into NY for the Hesiman. Huskies will also crack the top 12 with a big win, maybe even top 10 depending on other scores.

Huskies did not come all this way to 12-0 to have a let down now, 13-0 is on the horizon. Man I love this team, hate to see this season end...

Have not offered any prediction all season long and ain't gonna start doing so this week -other than my weekly forecast of points required and for MACC it's 41+ points will be needed for either team to win.

RE: MACC Predictions
I would feel more confident if NIU had a history of playing to their potential and playing well in MACC.
All four MACC games for NIU thus far has been subpar including back to Akron.

I don't think they played subpar last year. A little unlucky, yes, but they played well.

You mean the ones that refused to call a penalty on Kent State?

Oh, okay.....yeah, sure.

Kent State had a much better chance of making the OB last year. Sure seemed like the refs gave them the best chance they could.

The commissioner just needs to make a phone call and reinforce how important the BCS money is to our conference and the athletic programs.

Wow. Pretentious? Saying it'll be a good game to watch and NIU shouldn't get too comfortable? It's the same tone that many folks had with NIU going into Toledo. Yes, how dare I say NIU's chances of winning are 60%, with a predicted final score of NIU 31 / BG 28?

The point spread is 3. So no, it wouldn't be earth-shattering IF BGSU won. Sorry if that offends. I'm not being a jerk, nor wearing a falcon hat when I say all that.

I had no problem with your prediction. I didn't like how you felt the need to pick apart the two sentence I wrote as if I was making these absurd comments.
