I agree it does, but it was clear this team was not nearly as fired up to play today as Marshall, and not nearly as fired up as they were in the games against UNC and State. It really proves all that stuff about those games being ECU's "Super Bowl" correct, because this game meant more than both those games but no objective ECU fan can say that this team was as motivated today as they were in either of those 2 games.

Marshall only has one loss in conference and that a two point loss on the road with time running out in Murfreesboro. Stop the last minute drive there and they'd be undefeated in conference. I'd call that Championship worthy. They were steady through out the conference schedule.

I have no idea. I can't be in a kids head. I do know though that the Marshall players were ready and whooped our ass. Most of our problems were caused by Marshall.

I have no idea. I can't be in a kids head. I do know though that the Marshall players were ready and whooped our ass. Most of our problems were caused by Marshall.

You answered this even though you tried not to. Clearly Marshall's players were ready, but if you have to even debate if ours were then they weren't. There was a second I didn't think ECU was ready for UNC and State. Their fans are right, our players are more fired up for those games than any other.

This team has been very businesslike all year. I have not really seen them overly emotional in any game past the first few minutes. That has not been their makeup...good or bad.

BondJohns is on crack. MU was better at every position today..all day. The Herd was intense, athletic and would not be denied. I hope they play next week with the same effort..and the bowl game
