Yup, congrats Herd fans. There's been a lot of mud slinging on both sides but only one team has earned the right to be the best of the East and they removed all doubt. Any ECU fans that claim running up the score or blame on refs or anything else has lost their mind. I hope y'all win out now.

I commented on the refs but said that in the end it would not have mattered. Marshall made plays and ECU did not.

Really hope Marshall wins the championship.

Only a few on both sides were doing the mud slinging. I wish ECU the best and really hope we can continue playing each other with some frequency in the future.

Agree, most of the mudslinging was by a very few posters. Here's hoping to a future series between our schools, and for strong performances by both in their respective conferences.

I am not surprised Marshall won. I am not surprised they put up a lot of points. I AM SURPRISED the Pirates totally choked off this game. I didn't see it live, nor watched my DVR'd version yet but from the game tracker breakdown

I'd rather watch the second half of the GMAC bowl on loop than watch a second of that game today again. Consider yourself lucky you missed it and get excited for some ECU basketball Sunday.
