At about the ten minute mark we were at 10 points

I still think there is enough talent to win in the sbc this year but they may break before getting there. Lots of bad body language .

Overall, I thought we played well. OU is probably better than I thought. We scored 81 points. We just couldn't stop them from scoring pretty much at will.

Since you figured the game at "OU" was "very winnable", either they are a lot better than you thought or we are not nearly as good as you thought.

I think our offense looks good enough.

The defense is an issue but ou did hit a lot of 3s both wao and guarded.

We rotated pretty well on defense but those guys hit like 40% from 3.

My issue is this team going to fold. Lots of had body language.

Maybe he just looks like he's going to foul so they call it on him.03-banghead03-banghead03-banghead

We will always lose to a team with good three point shooters because of Steve's philosophy of not giving up the shot near the basket, so his guards sink in to help out, and a quick pass out to the perimeter gets the other team an open shot because our guards can't possibly get out quick enough to defend.04-chairshot04-chairshot04-chairshot

I don't feel quite as bad now. Iowa State just put up 47 against SEC Auburn in the first half.

Auburn lost by about that much to Northwestern State (Southland).

Mercer was down 29 to OU early in the second half. Mercer has beaten Seton Hall and Valpo, and only lost to Texas by 3. OU appears better than I thought. How good we are, I don't know.

Seton Hall also lost to St. Francis of NY. Just how good can they be?

St. Francis beat Miami (at Miami), won at Stony Brook, and lost by only 6 points at Syracuse. Lots of crazy results in early season games, but not sure I'd want to play St. Francis.

St. Francis actually is not that bad this year, for a change. They have wins over Miami and FAU this year.
