RE: LaTech....
My family had plans to go. Thanksgiving in San Antonio and watch the Dawgs play!! Sounded like a great time 6 weeks ago. But this team is just too depressing to watch. They would ruin all the fun, so we cancelled.

Tech fans, while lobbying for cusa membership even on this board, claimed to carry 5-8,000 fans to away games therefore you might expect and make room for that many. I am sure the other schools they visited this year are scratching their heads though.

Yes, we are easily the worst selection CUSA has ever made. It's a travesty.

I'll be there with my wife but we will only be driving a couple of miles from just NW of UTSA. How is the best way to get to the game? Drive or take the VIA park and ride? I haven't been to a game there.

Happy holidays Eager Eagle! This year I am thankful to be in the VERY SAME conference as you after years of our tireless effort posting propaganda on the CUSA Board. May your turkey be moist and 135 degrees.

enter campus by using Ximenes Avenue off of UTSA blvd. you will see the buses far away on your left. you can drive right up to them and park. all of those buses will go only to the Alamodome.

when leaving after the game exit the Dome using the South End zone exit, and the bus loading area(same place they dropped you off) will be in front of you. Main Campus/ 1604 campus will be the buses you want.

These are the student buses, probably not the buses you want to put LaTech fans on.

RE: LaTech....
anyone can take the buss. i have seen a lot of alumni on those buses, but your are right I have never seen an away fan on one.

he said he lives on the NW side SA, so it would be the closest.

Also WWDog if you want to drive to the game you can park in little lots/ peoples front yards on Cherry st. for $10-$20, but you would need to get there early

Why not just drive downtown and park in one of the hundred pay parking lots littered around Sunset Station?

I haven't forgotten Tech running up the score last year. I don't care if they are having a down year. We need to put a hurting on them. I wouldn't mind seeing a running 4th quarter clock.

LA Tech actually traveled about 8K to Rice last week. Not bad for a team with only 4 wins this season.

We have taken the Park and Ride from the airport location for every home game this year. I have seen several opposing team fans on the bus, not a ton, but several. Houston had a lot of fans on the bus if I remember right, okie light too. It's pretty quiet and tame at the airport location so I think you'd be fine there.

I don't like posts such as the one above, because it's simply a lie. Nevertheless, LA Tech is not a program that stays down long, so you better get your licks in while you can. Also.....MEN'S basketball is fast approaching, and we'll see if LA Tech can take UTSA to the woodshed. 05-stirthepot
