RE: 2015 Football Recruiting
I am curious about how others feel about the video of Ross Donelly. I think his combination of size, strength, and agility is unique for Rice. Covington was equally impressive but his high school competition was not at the level of Donelly's. If Bailiff can get players with this much potential to come to Rice, we will be in good shape, especially if they are defensive line recruits.

RE: 2015 Football Recruiting
I think I may give the new guy at Rivals a shot. One of my friends is still a subscriber and just told me he thinks he knows his stuff and that he hit quite a bit of stuff last season info wise, which he was surprised with giving his newness around the Rice program. He told me a lot of things but what stuck was he called that Dillard and Davis would be big at RB last season in spite of a few members questioning him publicly on the forum during hist first month or two. I can't remember everything but he spoke highly of him. I think I may give it a shot. If Im not happy I can always cancel. Thanks for the feedback.

That is the case with Herndon. He would like to play tight end and was impressed with those guys. Academics is also playing a huge role as he wants to major in EE. He also spoke very highly of Bailiff, the coaches and players.

Rivals interviewed offerree Riley Garner. Subscribe if you want to read it all, but it sounds like the EZF/facilities plans are being shown to recruits and they are hearing about a timeline...

Ah, thx

Jumbo QB/Athlete likely destined for DE. Runs well for his size, lots of frame for an S/C program to work with.

So what are the rules for bringing premium info from Rivals and posting it here for free? Im seeing a lot of that. Kinda seems cheap to me.

Where? I think mrbig's and bob's small synopsis posts are ok. Just as long as one's not copying content over.

I am only asking because I didn't know the rules and I decided to go ahead and join Rivals.

I am trying to post just enough to whet appetites and get a few more people to join. The coverage has been pretty solid this spring.

I believe in supporting both. Rivals has gone through some lean times but has recently showed significant improvement. I don't think it is fair to transfer information developed by Rivals.

Tyner's dad played with David Sloan at New Mexico... never hurts to have good genetics and a personal connection.

Oh man. This guy is stout. He'll probably put on 25 lbs. of muscle over the next 2 years. This is a good commitment.

Yes they are and the new guy is doing a much better job this spring and I am supporting him, but let's never forget MOONDOG who was unbeatable!

RE: 2015 Football Recruiting
Strange but exciting to look at the ESPN recruiting page and see that 1/3 of Rice's commits have 4-stars, 1/3 have 3-stars, and 1/3 are un-ranked. Sure, that is only 1 commit per category, but still...

Apparently Rice is solidly in the hunt for a 6'3, 280lb DE from Canada, Neville Gallimore...Hopefully Rice's Canadian connections will pay off.
