I really wish UConn was in Rutgers media market sometimes. They really hit the jackpot in realignment due to market location and nothing else.

Remember all the excitement RU fans showed when they hired their new Coach back in the Spring?

If not for that...RU might have been looking at a crowd around 375 or so instead.

I wonder how many season tickets they have? You would think they would just count the tickets distributed like...cough some of the teams do.

Well since we're talking Rutgers, let me segway into the board's favorite sport: College Wrestling. The Iowa Hawkeye wrestling team will host Iowa St, or Oklahoma St soon and get a crowd of between 10,000-15,000. Meanwhile the Iowa Basketball team will continue to sell out Carver Hawkeye Arena as well.....What am I trying to say? Welcome to the Big 10 Rutgers!

Hmmm I think someone in the center of our state counted distributed tickets for their basketball game vs Bethune, as i clearly remember a discussion between two posters of the school commenting how the announced attendance was higher than what was actually there.03-shhhh

To be fair, this was an unscheduled game against a d2 team as a result of the way the presason nit worked out.

Interesting, how did that play out, was there a need to play Stillman?

Rutgers host another NIT game tonight:

All tix just $10...students get in free...

Also, an early game will be played at 5 pm with Stillman vs Norfolk State...so if they add up traveling parties...that might help add another 100 to RU's total tonight.

Fair enough. Truth be told, I couldn't find a smaller version of it that didn't have the Bauer College of Business on it.
