Mickey Matthews Fired at JMU
Looks like the JMU fans were heard loud and clear. They needed to go in another direction if they were moving to the next level IMHO.

RE: Mickey Matthews Fired at JMU
No surprise. Was lucky he made it from two years ago when they beat Virginia Tech and did not make the playoffs. Sinking ship. JMU will leave the CAA soon and is Sun Belt or MAC bound. They have made the investment in a stadium that is FBS ready and their fan base gives back, travels with them (when they are good), and are past ready for the move. Without ODU, Mason and VCU in the full CAA the league is in the Duke's rear view mirror.

Have heard the JMU AD is a big fan of Rob's so that could be a place that appeals to our coach. Time will tell, but a good 1A job in the mid-atlantic is a rare thing, so do not scoff at this notion.
