The paper must be printed at the same place that printed those cards announcing our opening home game against Eastern Michigan.

WTF?! Who the hell made that?? They need to fix that NOW!

It's always amazing when major gaffes occur in print.

Is proof reading by knowledgeable reporters a lost art and a thing of the past?

I see similar goofs in the Huskie Illustrated like a missing word.

STAR not alone in gaffes in print....it's the regularity which is troubling.

BTW: I think this yr more than most the style of the reporter doing the previews seems less than a fifth grader when regularly writing "....NIU football will play at XXX..or NIU football will host XXX or NIU football will be seeking a 22nd home win...How about NIU football team or NIU Huskie gridders or ...

However, not so sure I can match the frequency and consistency of errors in STAR.
