WVU = 4-7

Clear indictation of how schools like ours, starved the Mountaineers to death, to where they aren't even competitive.

So since this game is on Thanksgiving weekend, we should send some food up north for that fine institution for the holidays.

If anyone wants to actually do this I would be more than willing to keep this thread updated with details!

Im sure the HERDFANS or HerdNation tailgates would hold the donations!

A joint Marshal - ECU food drive at the tail gating area for WV would be hilarious!

ECU and Marshall fans coming together for a good cause. I'm sure this is touching enough that maybe even SJ would throw in on it. No more starving Mountaineers folks! Lets come together and make a difference. Just think..............your donation could help put some meat on Clint Trickett so that he could shed those gawd awful looking rib pads that he has to wear every game. We can make a difference!!!

I always had a soft spot for WVU, my grandmother used to just adore Don Nehlen back in the day, but the treatment of Bill Stewart and Dana H's 'starving' comments have made their fall to the cellar really fun to watch. So I'll contribute a couple of pepperoni rolls to the cause. I really wish MU would have played them this year, the meltdown would have been epic.

Thinking about doing something with recycling beer cans at the tailgate instead of canned goods.

It's a good thought, but we always have a mental block vs them. I think the best way to handle the Mountaineers is to just forget they exist. Our program doesn't need them. They don't need us. The bandwagon fans of both schools will gravitate towards the one winning anyway. We'll pick up a few of those that become disenchanted. They are more of a rival for ECU than they ever were for us, for anything but state money.

If you can get a frat/Sor set up boxes I'll get it posted to over 70K Pirates. Send the can goods to Morgantown Food banks in care of WVU.

I'm down for the cause. Be glad to donate a case of tripe.

I think it would be awesome to have a canned food drive in "honor" of WVU. Takes WVU (and Holgorsen specifically) down a peg on several levels.

1. WVU sucks so let Marshall and ECU help out.
2. There are actually people in this country starving so shut your millionaire mouth about your players who are getting a free education, not to mention a good amount of free food, starving.

I would have to think it would raise some national media attention if ECU and Marshall were able to donate a large amount of food while making fun of WVU and Holgorsen. Unforunately, outside of us "message board crazies", I don't think it would catch on.

I think that if both ECU & Marshall played WV this year, that we'd both put the wood to the 'Eers regardless of where the game's played. I hope they don't fire DH before we get another shot at them. My favorite WV highlight below.
