Firewood Delivery
Any recommendations for seasoned firewood delivery? I know that Woodland Tree will deliver, but I'm guessing that somebody here has a guy they have used in the past that offers more bang for my buck. Thanks in advance.

Yes! I have been using the same folks for years. Let me find their number and I'll post it, great wood. A truckload is about $155 or so.

I used and Chester and Chandra Thompson, 240-595-2380. Brother and sister team. 3 sizes of logs, will deliver or you can pick it up yourself. i have no idea why they have a 240 area code. 1/2 cord delivered $125
I could take you to their lot, but can't tell you exactly the streets. go N on Whitten from Stage Rd, 2nd 4 way turn L (long way), then 1st L by the church, they are across the street. tell'm Mr Carroll sent ya

That sounds like Ellendale Road. Right across from Bartlett Hill Baptist Church. It's between Fiske and Old Brownsville on Ellendale. Been selling wood forever.

I have a 228 and have lived here almost 10 years. Once Coast Trash, always Coast Trash.

Didn't know there was actually firewood delivery folks. Sounds very old school. Like it.

My folks deliver every year, call me in August or so with a pre-season special, stack it exactly where I say. It's awesome.

RE: Firewood Delivery
I used to go through this routine every year....2 maby 3 cords of wood a season.

I put gas logs in my fireplace with a handy remote control...turn it on from my easy chair...

For the cost of a cord of wood, I never have to go out and bring that crap in...never have to clean the ashes out of the fireplace.

yeah, I miss the crackle of a real fire, but I don't miss the expense of finding the wood, bringing it in, etc.

Yes sir. Sitting in my recliner now with the TV remote and the gas logs remote. Has a thermostat on the remote. Too easy.

Great to hear. She's really sweet. Once we got a second dog, we stopped using her just because he's bigger and needs to be let out more than twice a day, especially when he was younger. So we take them to Camp Bow Wow when we're out of town overnight. Bit more expensive, but I know they're happier running themselves ragged. Plus they're out for an extra couple days when we pick them up.

Camp Bow Wow rocks. I use them for day camp once or twice a week. I highly recommend that place.

I told you Camp Bow Wow rocks. I should get commissions, we wear our Australian Shepherd out there 3 days a week. If we didn't that dog would drive me crazier.
