Exclamation NuPudgeI needs some help and education..
Anyone,

I need a response ,any input would be greatly appreciated..

While in Evanston drinking for the post NU and EMU loses (surprised)? The topic of replacing NU and EMU coaches started again... A couple buddies asked me what happened to Tyrone Wheatley? They said they met him at a couple bowl games and they now have a relationship with him and they were surprised and shocked that he wasn't being looked at for the EMU HC position.. I told them I would post this question on the board..

Listen all, these guys are very character driven and hard to pleases when it comes to anything.. They both usually are very good judgement of people. They said he hasn't even be contacted by EMU and he is from the area, lives in the town, loves the area, and wouldn't be interested in moving toward another college if he turn the program around..

Another "Michigan Man" who's never been a head coach except for one year in HS.

There aren't that many key kids in Michigan. I loved what Mike Haywood said about recruiting and how he'd hit the south hard, where the "also-ran" kids are more talented that many of the state of Michigan blue chippers.

Did he ever coach there at EMU?

He'd be a bad hire -- no coordinating experience anywhere. The idea that he could surround himself with experienced assistants was the thought process that Western used when they hired Fleck...

Yes. RB coach before Hart I believe. I'm with the majority on this. HC experience is preferred but a minimum must have coordinator experience. He has neither.

Yeah, Wheatley's going to give up job in NFL where coaches get vested in a pension to go back to Ypsilanti to be an assistant for a Bottom Ten FBS team.
