Incredible stat line.
Way to go with cutting down on the TOs too

Will they be higher at the end of the year? I doubt it, they look bad.

Rob Williams picked up 4 more offensive rebounds, for a total of 7 rebounds, and 11 points.
UAB only had 12 turnovers for the game.

+1 Very proud and impressed with this team. Toughness goes a long way and we seem to have plenty.

Temple is in the high 100"s, Georgia is WAY past that. For what it's worth, UAB is 32 in the RPI. It has not updated since yesterday though. I like where basketball is going!

Chad played at Gulf Coast State College for two seasons. I called my mom several times during the game, today, and kept her posted on Chads play and stats. Mom goes to all of the GCSC games, every year. I just called mom a minute ago to give her the final results of the game. She was tickled pink. Mom is going by GCSC today to watch practice and is going to let Jay Powell(mens coach at GCSC) know how well Chad is doing for our UAB Team. My mom is a gem. She is 86 years old. Chad is a gem, too. There is something special about this team. Great win, today, a total team effort. Looking forward to the next game. Have a great day, all. God Bless.

It was also good to see Swing get back in double digit points again. He had his down moments, but at least he was able to stay in the game and make some shots.

Imagine if we got everyone firing on all cylinders. Swing, CJ, Frazier, and even guys like Purifoy and others are capable of putting up big numbers. Swing and Purifoy have been almost MIA in some games so far.
Also anyone know the status on Riddeau?

I think Swing will definitely play more of a complementary role this year. Frazier, Washington, and Rucker seem to be handling the heavy lifting very well. Swing, Foz, and Williams have all been great in their complementary roles. Would love to see Mehinti, Purifoy, and Watts get some more minutes off the bench, so we can take advantage of our depth and to hopefully prevent our main guys from wearing down or getting injured.

Not against teams like New Mexico and Nebraska. They should play in several of our home OOC games. Then maybe they can show that they deserve to be in the conference rotation.

Was mainly curious about Riddeau because I thought he was supposed to be a 3pt specialist. I think if we shoot even better from the perimeter it's going to add another element and make us that much tougher to beat.

Riddeau must just be totally horrible defensively. Or can't grasp the offense. Or something. Because UAB's pre-game shootaround is right in front of me. And his shot is mesmerizing. He just wanders around the three-point line burying 3s with a smoothness that makes you think he hasn't missed since middle school. And you'd think somebody with that kind of shot (even unguarded) could find his way on the court. The fact that he can't means something else is dramatically deficient.

Yeah, I think he said something about taking some time to adjust. Kinda odd for a JUCO to be buried so far on the bench. Is he gonna be red-shirted?

I saw him in at least 1 game this year and he did look sorta lost out there and his shot wasnt hitting the bottom of the net either. Dont know how much you can play and still redshirt???

The redshirt rule used to be "No more than 10% of the games or no more than 10% of the total minutes played." But it has been a couple of days since I read the rule.
