Rutgers @ UCF
Fairly big game tonight in the AAC for UC . UCF still needs to lose a game (or 2) to give UC a chance at the AAC championship . If Rutgers pulls one out of their arse , there will be a 3 way tie for first.

- UCF 5-0 8-1
- Louisville 5-1 9-1
- Cincinnati 5-1 8-2

After what we saw last week I dont hold a lot of hope however.

I haven't been really impressed with UCF's last few games either.

UCF pretty scores when they need. How wonderful a Rutgers win tonight would be, but I don't see that.

Rutgers win would be nice! They seem to play better on the road. Played Louisvile and Fresno State very tough on the road.

RE: Rutgers @ UCF
i'm hoping for a Rutgers win, i'm expecting Rutgers to get pounded out. That team is one more demoralizing loss away from "going fishing" for the season.

UCF is as good as they are lucky. I doubt they lose tonight but at the same time could see Rutgers pulling it off.

Is Chas Dodd starting for Rutgers or are they sticking with Gary Nova?

Dodd moved the bill a bit on us; albeit it was in garbage time.

Rutgers has a chance, a slim one at best - their best defnesive play may be tackle the WR for 15yd penalty instead of giving up TD's. Their pass defense has to play good, their run defense will hold their own. QB play for Rutgers is the key - no turnovers and they'll keep it close.......hopefully. Maybe getting away from home will help them.

RE: Rutgers @ UCF
I think UCF is going to lose at least one game. The SMU game is the most dangerous one left on the schedule but Rutgers has the talent to pull this one off. They are in such negative funk right now that it would be difficult to predict RU to win. I keep thinking if UCF loses one game wouldn't be better to have it be the last one of the season so they don't have a chance to climb back in the polls; however, if they lose to tonight then a second "L" takes the BCS ranking out of the equation.

We would still need to pass them in the BCS rankings. Their only loss is OOC.
They are undefeated in conference play. Losing to Rutgers would hurt them bad enough that 2 UC wins against Houston and media darling Ville should get us ahead of them.................hopefully.

A month ago I wouldve said Rutgers had more than a good shot. But now they are spiraling out of control. Plus all the controversy surrounding their program they'll be doing well just to pick up one more win to get bowl eligible.

UCF is literally allowing Nova as much time as he wants to throw, and its working.

Rutgers would finish towards the bottom half of the MAC. They really suck.

At least Rutgers got their proverbial 4th quarter field goal.
