Whoever selects and plays the music over the loud speakers at The Glass Bowl should be Horse Whipped , beat over the head , and then fired !!!!!!!! For playing "Who Let The Dogs Out???" at the end of halftime!!!!!!!!!!

They also love playing Clarity, and other Pop song that I can't remember that gets no one pumped up.

Isn't it great that they play music while our offense is trying to call signals.............

I commented on this topic in another one of the threads. Whoever was running the sound last night needs to be fired. We were all in the stands saying "WTF"...

Same stuff happens at home for us. The cheerleaders start a Red and Black chant right before the offense takes the field after a time out. It's so noisy they can't get a play called. It's like the organizers don't know football? They might as well throw the make some noise graphic up on the scoreboard too. Worse than starting the chant, is the fans actually do it which is mind boggling as well.

Heard that as we were walking back at halftime...I looked at my buddy(Boise fan) and said they are playing our song...thought it was odd.

My first time in the Glass Bowl...everyone I ran into was great...parking is a pain in the ass..very classy that the Toledo band came over to NIU section and played the NIU fight song before the game (I assume they do that for all teams) love that you can buy beer in the stadium!!

I did not get to see much of your campus but what I did see is impressive.

The music selection is very puzzling because they do come up with some impressive tracks spanning mulitple genres that work well in a football atmosphere. And then they make a fool of themselves in front of arguably the biggest visiting crowd of the season. In addition to foolishly not considering the opponent when playing "Who Let the Dogs Out",

• "Clarity" should not be played at any time where football players are standing on the field. Might as well be playing Justin Biebler's songs when our offense is in the red zone too.
• "Everytime We Touch" should never be played at any sporting event, except after our opponent has been flagged for illegal touching.
• What is it with this university and "The Macarena". That song should not have been played at any sporting event at any level within the past 15 years. Somebody needs to buy the multimedia dept. a calendar to remind them that it's not 1996 anymore.
• We keep playing "Don't Drop That Thun Thun", which would be the perfect song to play after our opponent drops a pass, or fumbles, or something. Except we play it to taunt our OWN players for dropping a pass!!! What is that all about?
• It was a really nice gesture to have players tell their stories on how breast cancer affected their lives and families. It would have been better if i could understand a word they were saying. Nice sound system!!!!!
