A friend of mine ( big Bama fan ) always says "Roll Blazers". It gets on my nerves but at least he is keeping up with Steve and the Blazers and supporting them by coming to the game tonight...

Question- Would you make a big deal out of it or just let it be?

I personally think it's ok. Don't know a ton of dual UAT and UAB fans but do know a few. I think we should just embrace anyone that's even halfway a UAB fan.

Let it be. At least it's some support.
Besides, there are people who do like and support both teams.

(that's what I've always thought should be our equivalent of "War Eagle")

You might try answering with "Go Tide"... and if he says "It's Roll Tide", then you have an opening to answer "Yeah, and it's Go Blazers!".

Otherwise, let it be, I guess.

I think most do, but on here amongst us, its easy to vent our Bama frustration.

I have some Bama and Auburn friends who are very supportive of UAB (some even hold UAB season tix), and they never belittle us. So, every time I get bent out of shape over our BOT or an obnoxious fan and want to slam everything Bama, I remember fans like them and I realize my frustration stems from a few power mongers at the top of a terrible framework for university oversight and not from Joe Bama Fan or Joe Auburn Fan.

Let it go. We're not so flush with fans we can afford to alienate people who do take an honest interest.

Their money is green as well.

By coworker says that all the time... But he genuinely wishes the best for our program, unlike some of our so called "die hard" blazer fans.

I like "Light It Up!" (double meaning pun situation, light a fire and light the scoreboard), but I agree we need something a little more interesting than "Go Blazers." "Spit Fire" is alright.
