Conference Races (what each team needs)
Looking through the standings with a little less than 3 weeks in the season, here is how the conference championship races look and their remaining conference schedule (I'm ignoring non-conference games). Let me know if you see something off.

Note: I started trying to get all the possibilities, but think I've finally had enough with lists for this college football season. I got most, but left a couple possibilities with a conference or two.

ACC
Atlantic:
Florida State (8-0): Won division outright and heading to ACC CG.

Coastal:
(This division is a mess. Check out http://www.syracuse.com/patrick-stevens/...nd_al.html for a better layout than here).

Duke (4-2): If they win out, they are in. If they lose to North Carolina, they are out. If they lose to Wake Forest, but beat North Carolina, they will be in if Miami (FL) also wins out.
Remaining Games: @ Wake Forest, @ North Carolina

Virginia Tech (4-3): They need to win out. Two Duke losses would clinch it for them. If Virginia Tech wins and Duke loses 1, Virginia Tech wins all possible 5-3 tie-breakers but 1. That tie-breaker involves Duke loosing to Wake Forest (and thus beating North Carolina) and Miami (FL) winning its last two.
Remaining Games: @Virginia

Georgia Tech (5-3): They need Virginia to beat Virginia Tech and Miami (FL) to lose to one of its last two.
Remaining Games: No ACC games remain

Miami (FL) (3-3): They need to win out, have Virginia beat Virginia Tech and North Carolina beat Duke.
Remaining Games: vs. Virginia, @Pitt

American:
Central Florida (5-0): If they win out they are outright champs. If they lose 1, they are likely co-champs, but could still be outright with Louisville and Cincinnati losses.
Remaining Games: vs. Rutgers, vs. South Florida, @SMU

Louisville (5-1): They need to win out and have 1 UCF loss for at least a share of the title and 2 for an outright title. If they lose a game, they need UCF to lose 2 for a shared title. If that lost game was to Cincinnati, they also need Cincinnati to lose @ Houston.
Remaining Games: vs. Memphis, @ Cincinnati

Cincinnati (5-1): Exactly the same situation as Louisville. They need to win out and have UCF lose 1 for a shared title and have UCF lose 2 for an outright title. If UC losses to Houston, they need 2 UCF losses for a shared title. IF UC losses to Louisville, they need 2 UCF losses and for Louisville to lose to Memphis
Remaining Games: @Houston, vs. Louisville

Houston (4-2): To get a share of the title, they need to win out, have UCF loose 2-3 times, and have Louisville beat Cincinnati.
Remaining Games: vs. Cincinnati, @SMU

Southern Methodist (3-2): To get a share of the title, they need to win out, have UCF loose against Rutgers and/or South Florida, and have the winner of Cincinnati/Louisville game to have lost the week before (to Houston/Memphis respectfully).
Remaining Games: @South Florida, @Houston, vs. Central Florida

Big 12
Baylor (6-0): If they win out, they are outright champ. If they lose 1, they are co-champs unless both Texas and Oklahoma State lose, bringing them back to outright.
Remaining Games: @Oklahoma State, @TCU, vs. Texas

Oklahoma State (6-1): If they win out, they are at least co-champs. If Baylor and Texas both lose another (besides to Oklahoma State), they are outright champs.
Remaining Games: vs. Baylor, @ Oklahoma

Texas (6-1): If they win out, they are at least co-champs. To be outright champs, they need one of two things. They need to win out with Oklahoma State beating Baylor but lose to Oklahoma or Baylor to beat Oklahoma State but lose to TCU.
Remaining Games: vs. Texas Tech, @Baylor

Oklahoma (5-2): They need a lot for a share of the title and there are only two combinations that lead to that. They need to win out and then either a) Oklahoma State and Texas beat Baylor while Texas loses to Texas Tech or b) Oklahoma State and TCU beat Baylor while Baylor beats Texas
Remaining Games: @Kansas State, @Oklahoma State

Big Ten
WIWH (Why is Wisconsin Here division):

Ohio State (6-0): Ohio State clinches their spot in the championship game with a win in either their final 2 or a Wisconsin loss.
Remaining games: vs. Indiana, @Michigan

Wisconsin (5-1): Need to win out and have Ohio State lose both its final two.
Remaining conference games: @Minnesota, vs. Penn State
WIW (Where is Wisconsin division):
Michigan State (6-0): If Michigan State wins one of its last two or Minnesota loses to Wisconsin, it's in the Big Ten Championship Game.
Remaining Games: @Northwestern, vs. Minnesota

Minnesota (4-2): We have two weeks left in the regular season and Minnesota is one of 4 teams that mathematically still has the chance of being called Big Ten Champions. There are three games left that all have to go Minnesota's way. 1. They need to beat Wisconsin next Saturday. 2. They need Northwestern to beat Michigan State next Saturday. 3. They need to beat Michigan State in two weeks.
Remaining Games: vs. Wisconsin, @Michigan State

Conference USA
East
East Carolina: Beat Marshall and they are in the title game. Lose and they need Marshall to lose its last game to Florida International.
Remaining Games: @Marshall

Marshall: They need to win out.
Remaining Games: @Florida International, vs. East Carolina

West (Note: I'm not going through all the scenarios here, but here are the results vs. each other. Basically every team wants the teams that beat them to lose to improve tie-breakers).
North Texas (5-1): Win out and they are in. They beat Rice, lost to Tulane.
Remaining Games: vs. UTSA, @Tulsa

Rice (5-1): Win out and have North Texas lose 1 and they are in. Rice has beat UTSA, and lost to North Texas.
Remaining Games: @UAB, vs. Tulane

UTSA (4-2): They need to win out and have Rice lose to get a divisional tie. They beat Tulane and lost to Rice.
Remaining Games: @ North Texas, vs. Louisiana Tech

Tulane (4-2): They need to win out and have North Texas lose one to get a divisional tie. They beat North Texas and lost to UTSA.
Remaining Games: vs. UTEP, @Rice

MAC
East
Buffalo (6-1): Beat Bowling Green and they in the MAC CG.
Remaining Games: vs. Bowling Green

Bowling Green (5-1): Beat Buffalo and they are in the MAC CG.
Remaining Games: @Eastern Michigan, vs. Buffalo

West
Northern Illinois (7-0): Have clinched spot in MAC Championship Game
Remaining Games: vs. Western Michigan

Mountain West
Mountain
Fresno State (6-0): Win either of its last two and they are in the first Mountain West Championship Game
Remaining Games: vs. New Mexico, @ San Jose Staet

San Diego State (5-1): Win out and have Fresno State lose both its last two.
Remaining Games: vs. Boise State, @ UNLV

West
Boise State (5-1): Win out and they are in. They can lose 1 if Utah State does as well and still go to the championship game.
Remaining Games: @San Diego State, vs. New Mexico

Utah State (5-1): Win out and have Boise State lose 1 and they are in.
Remaining Games: vs. Colorado State, vs. Wyoming

Colorado State (4-2): They need to win out and have Boise State lose both their last two.
Remaining Games: @Utah State, vs. Air Force

PAC-12
North
Oregon (6-1): If they win out, they are in the PAC-12 title game.
Remaining Games: @Arizona, vs. Oregon State

Stanford (6-2): Beat Cal and have Oregon lose 1 of its last two.
Remaining Games: vs. Cal

South (Thanks to http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.ss..._down.html)
Arizona State (6-1): If a) they beat UCLA or b) if they lose to UCLA, UCLA loses to USC, and Arizona State beats Arizona, they are in.
Remaining Schedule: @ULCA, vs. Arizona

UCLA (5-2): If they win out, they are in. They can't lose.
Remaining Schedule: vs. Arizona State, @USC

USC (5-2): Win out and Arizona State lose to both ULCA and Arizona
Remaining schedule: @Colorado, vs. UCLA

SEC
East
Missouri (5-1): Win out and they are in. They cannot lose a game.
Remaining Games: @Ole Miss, vs. Texas A&M

South Carolina (6-2): If Missouri losses either its final 2, South Carolina goes to the SEC CG.
Remaining Games: No SEC games remain

West
Alabama (7-0): They go to the SEC title game with a win over Auburn.
Remaining Games: @Auburn

Auburn (6-1): They go to the SEC title game with a win over Alabama.
Remaining Games: vs. Alabama

Sun Belt
Louisiana-Lafayette (5-0): Wins title outright if they win out. Can drop one of last two and still win outright if Arkansas State loses one.
Remaining Games: vs. Louisiana-Monroe, @South Alabama

Arkansas State (4-1): Wins share of the title by winning out and Louisiana-Lafayette loss. Needs two losses from ULL for outright title.
Remaining Games: vs. Georgia State, @Western Kentucky

Louisiana-Monroe (3-2): To get a share of the title needs to win out, have Louisiana-Lafayette loss to South Alabama, and for Arkansas State to lose 1.
Remaining Games: @South Alabama, @Louisiana-Lafayette
