On a side note it was great to join C-USA for Mens Soccer this year,
the quality of competition really helped our squad.

Juco transfer CJ Washington is a flat out beast. Can score from pretty much anywhere on the floor. Rod Rucker does everything but drive the bus. Jordan Swing is our shooter, though he hasn't really gotten warmed up yet. Foz Alihodzic is a big guy with a nice touch.

Thanks, will we see up-tempo (something we do this year) or a grinder?

UNC offense on steroids.

Should be up tempo.

We have the ability to play with a tall lineup and rebound the ball very well. I know you guys are big too so that'll be an interesting matchup to watch.

I know Coach Neal wants to speed up the game as opposed to coach Alford's type of game.

We are tall and big down low, and tall at the 3 perimeter positions should be a lot of fouls if the first few games are any indication.

We are careless with the ball, especially coming off of defensive rebounds. Stay in the passing lanes.

This will be an interesting game, as both teams want to push the tempo. I'm afraid that if we get into a scoring competition, we'll lose by 10-15. To win, the Blazers must outrebound by a large margin as we've done in our previous three games. We have to shoot the ball well from the perimeter and take care of the basketball as well. Finally, I'm thinking we would want the game to get into a foulfest to offset the talent gap the Lobos have.

FN, what tallent gap? Our first 3, is better than their first 3. Bench play is another story...

I Fn think we have a great shot at winning this game.

I think if we can score more points than New Mexico, then we stand a really good chance of winning the game.

If it gets into a foul fest. We have been shooting free throws extremely well this year. Granted all 3 games have been at home, and our first road/nuetral court trip could make us a totally different team from the stripe

UAB vs. New Mexico is definately going to be a "Battle of the Boards" on both ends of the court.
