Yes.

And Combs is starting maybe to try to 'get him going'.

Lee can come off the bench. Instant energy.

I've been a big Combs supporter. Glad to see him getting it going!

Toledo trailed UDM by 19 with 14 minutes left. They fought all the way back and won 80-78. I think they scare me more than any team in the East.

42-35 EMU leads at half.

42 at the half...I remember plenty of times where we scored around that for the entire game. So nice to have a team that can score.

Should be up by a lot more though. Some dumb loose ball fouls have led to UTA shooting a ton (and making a ton) of free throws. Gotta clean that up in the 2nd half.

We really miss Glenn Bryant as well, especially on the defensive end.

Chad said he hurt his ankle either yesterday or earlier today. I guess Murphy said he's available, but only in an emergency.

Wonder if the radio crew knows that the All-Access audience can hear them talking during commercials.

RE: GameWeek: UT-Arlington
All of a sudden UTA is within 4, after some deep threes of their own. Our offense got stagnant. Too much dribbling up top by the guards.

Raven with 36, but UTA won't go away. Only a 5 point lead.

RE: GameWeek: UT-Arlington
Whew. EMU holds on to win 74-69. 5-0.

38 from Raven Lee, 18 from Darell Combs. Good job to close the game out, even though we were missing one of our best players. Undefeated going into the Kentucky game...couldn't ask for a better start to the year.

RE: GameWeek: UT-Arlington
Crazy game with no GB and no post offense.

It was all perimeter play. 67 points by Lee, Combs and Ward.

Excellent FT shooting.

Every game is a different game.

Did anyone notice the spin that Riley put on his FT? Instead of front-to-back it was right-to-left at a downward angle. No wonder he misses from 6-feet out.

RE: GameWeek: UT-Arlington
It was fun to watch Ray go for 38 tonight...
He would have had 40+ if he just hit his free throws :-)
I'm glad we won, but if you would have told me that we'd get 38 from Lee I would have thought we'd win by a lot more than 5...
Here's to a healthy Glenn Bryant on Wednesday!

RE: GameWeek: UT-Arlington
Can someone explain this to me? With about 7-8 minutes left to go in the game, Murphy would have one of the guards dribble the ball near center court and his four teammates would stand in pairs to the left and right of the basket. Then with about 10 seconds left on the shot clock, the guard with the ball would attempt to get the offense going. It seemed very odd, very unnecessary and played into UTA's hands.
