RE: UB vs BUGS Groupon and restaurant guide
Restaurant guide for visiting fans:

Danny's - good place to eat lunch before the game. They have a wide variety of soups and sandwiches. They make a chicken wing soup that's very popular.

Ilio DiPaolo's - Casual Italian.

El Canelo - Casual Mexican.

BW's - best barbecue in WNY.

Zebb's - family-type restaurant with a large menu also has a small sports bar area.

Wings:

Buffalo Sports Garden - more traditional sports bar.

Duff's - Most locals will tell you to go to Duff's, but I don't like Duff's because they drown the wings in sauce and make the sauce way too hot.

Wherever you go, they will be better than those abominations served by Fricker's. Wings should never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever be breaded. 03-puke 03-puke 03-puke

Fast Food:

Ted's Hot Dogs - Best hot dogs I've had anywhere ever.

Mighty Taco - Better than Taco Bell, not as good as Chipotle.

Both Ted's and Mighty Taco serve loganberry pop. I've never seen loganberry pop anywhere but WNY or Southern Ontario so it's probably new to you.

These are just the locally-owned places near the Ralph I've been to. There are a lot of other locally-owned places and all the standard suburban national chain restaurants.

RE: UB vs BUGS Groupon and restaurant guide
We talked about this last night on the post game show "Last Bull In" ( http://www.ubbullrun.com/2013/11/19/5124...st-bull-in )

Right now UB has said they have sold about 24,000 tickets and are giving out 6,000 at the ThankgGiving "Turkey Trot" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkey_Trot ) which usually has about 10-15K runners.

But I would be amazed if there were more than 15K people at the stadium... Prove me wrong Director White..

Nice list. You don't have to look too far for good wings. Any local pizza joint in metro Buffalo will cook up better wings than any place you've ever eaten wings in Any other city. Pick up pizza and wings from local places like Bocce, La Nova, Santora's... just to name a few....

I think he was talking about Ted's. And now that I live in Chicago, I can definitively say that Ted's is better than any Chicago-dog I've ever had!

Yes I was. I bolded that part but the originally bolded wings part may have thrown him off(though, a lot of things throw him off from my experiences with him-hence I am on his "ignore" list) so I can understand. I looked at their pictures and the dogs do look good(sounded like they are grilled?) but I guess I am a Chicago dog guy. I do like Nathan's hot dogs too but I just have a hard time calling them "hot dogs", they seem more like smoked sausage in a hot dog form(much like NY'ers have a hard time calling Chicago style pizza a pizza).
