If CMU makes it to 6-6, I can almost guarantee they will be selected over Ohio. 3 consecutive MAC blowouts for Ohio.

I am having a hard time saying this because it is sacrilege, but I would not exactly be writing my complaints to the bowl committee if we weren't selected.

It would take away from saying that we were a bowl team, but a few good things may come from it. We could hit the recruiting trail harder and faster this offseason and maybe it would set things into perspective for the returning players.

(Don't take this as me saying I hope we don't make a bowl; it would still be good to have a shot at something to hang our hats on this year. But after the last three showings... wow.)

The goal was winning a MAC title and they didn't even post a winning MAC record for the second year in a row. This team laid an egg in game 1 and continued to disappoint fans all season. With the talent this team returned at the skill positions and in the secondary this season was a failure. The extra practice would help, but a bowl game would be a waste of money and the time for the fans. Bowl game? Solich is lucky he isn't fired for how bad this team under performed this years expectations. Solich did a terrible job this year and looks lost on the sidelines.
