I DEFINITELY would NOT bet on this game this weekend. Toooo many intangibles going into it.

ECU has had lots of trouble in Raleigh. That said, they are A LOT better than NC State. Unless they lay a brain fart, they'll destroy State.

You have more balls than I do. No way I would touch this game with a wager. The series between these two teams is just too emotionally charged. You just don't know may happen. We could blow them out...or ..we could get blown out. I have been to every meeting starting with my Pop Warner football team in the 70s when I lived in Wilmington NC. I actually pulled for NC State. My dad has never let me forget that...and...It was the only time I did.

In the last 10 games of the series, ECU holds a 6-4 advantage over NC State.

But that means nothing, I expect Saturday to be a war. We could very easily lose to the 3 win Wolfpack.

Last time we played in Raleigh, ECU was undefeated and ranked in the top 15 & a 7 point favorite. Accordingly, a very average NCSU beat us in OT. The last time we played in Greenville, a top 25 NCSU team led by Russell Wilson was about a 7 point favorite and they lost to an average ECU team in OT.

You just never want to put money down on this series.

It shouldnt be that close. On paper it should be ECU -17. Gameday is a separate issue though and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a closer came.

I disagree. I think the Pirates roll this week. Anyway, I am playing on house money. I bet the last two Pirate games fairly big and I am betting the combined winnings on those two games this week. I believe I am going to double my winnings this week. Come Pirates, you gotta BELIEVE....

I will always root for Marshall even though I can't say the same about a few Herd fans here. And I hope we play you in the future.

I wish ECU well too. Since graduating from Marshall in 03 and moving to NC, ECU has become my other team. Fans are always good to me, even though I usually wear a Kelly Green hat to their games. Not sure I would want to make the move "up" withthem, but I would love to see the newly annual end of season game continue.

Watch the ACC officials they love having impact on games involving ACC playing smaller conf school
