RE: Can we please
I'm just looking forward to being one of the few in the end to say that I believed in the process and was patient enough to wait it out and see the results. Until then I guess I will keep my mouth shut. But I'm with a few others that are still giving him a shot to turn this thing around in the next 1-2 seasons.

RE: Can we please
I basically agree with what you are saying as well flush. There really isn't anything more to be said. I've said the same thing 200 times in the last year. And at this point it really doesn't matter. He is going to be our coach for the foreseeable future so there really isn't much more to say.

However, I did see one thing on Saturday after the game that puzzled me or maybe made me take a little more pause into whether or not this guy really understands how he is perceived. After the game as he and the team were leaving the field. He was getting heckled pretty good by fans. Not CMU fans, WMU fans and plenty of them. They were giving him the business. And he just turned and thanked them for their support. But the way he did it, I wasn't sure if he was being a bit condescending or if he genuinely just didn't get that they were pissed off. Either way, there are plenty of "fans" that are not enamored with Mr Fleck.

Good for the fans. They deserve to be pi$$ed off. We all do. I think he has just taken the path that "keep rowing" means just keep thanking fans, preparing the team and hopefully when it all turns around that everything will be set straight. I applaud him for his restraint if that indeed was the case. What is he going to do.... he has no ammunition this year... he's lost all but one game and he just took it on the chin for our most hated rival. I think he is just "staying the course".

You're probably right. Honestly, putting it in writing I cant exactly explain what I saw. It was almost surreal.

And you are also right that fans have a right to be pissed off. As is evident by this board. At one point however, I almost did a complete 180 and defended PJ. Mainly because my biggest pet peeve in life is stupid people that spout off when they have no idea what they are talking about. Hearing guys yell about his contract and the money he makes and other ridiculous stuff was driving me nuts. But I didn't say anything, I just took it all in.

I'm going to try to stay away from the football forum for a while as I have nothing good to say and I'd just as soon forget 2013. Besides, Hockey and men's and women's bball have started up. Clipfell started a nice turnaround for women's bball in his first year last year (and yes that is a dig at another Bronco coach). Something to get excited about. Not to mention that women's soccer is in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament.

Go Broncos!

MESSAGE BOARD PAYBACKS ARE HELL!!!!

You show me a good loser and I'll show you a guy trying to build a statue for a 51-47 coach.

Let. It. Go. "Bill" is gone. You aren't right about "Bill" just because PJ Fleck had a worse year. Trying to frame this as a Cubit v Fleck is so completely beside the point. Cubit had his chance here and peaked. PJ's first year was miserable. All discussions about the program going forward should not revolve around a mediocre coach who had we kept would have still have had a bad season and we'd still be trying to figure out what to do next.

Thinking no, we can discuss what we think is relevant here.

I like PJs effort and enthusiasm, so do his players.

All the whining on this board is a "waste of time", PJ is our coach for the next 4 years so just get over this years record.

The offensive play calling has been "strange" at times but we do have a ton of injuries. OC's job is in question after this season.

Hypothetically, if Fleck continues to bring in the type of talent he's getting now he'll be a winner. And when that happens every struggling coach will be sticking some sort of motivational saying and sticker on their helmet and chanting whatever ra-ra mantra they can come up with.

This is not new. Butch Jones had "hold the rope" a few years back. He's seemed to do fine with it. PJ was talking smack to Davis yesterday, or so some thought..............Jones told Jemarko Simons to "get the fvck off the field" a few years back, and it was picked up by the television mic as clear as could be. Didn't seem to harm him at all.

Once this guy starts winning more than he loses all will be forgotten.

So PJ will be good for the DJ business. 03-drunk

You mean coaches talking smack on the sideline or "having hissy fits" really doesn't hurt them? Wow, who knew?

Now that I have a "feeling" who Liam is, that makes this thread that much more interesting.
